Lady Gaga echoed a graceful mermaid as she dried herself off in the sunshine after a swim session in her most recent Instagram share on Wednesday, May 26. The Grammy Award winner looked every inch the siren in a deep-blue, tie-dye bikini, lounging on the pavement with one leg elegantly crossed on top of the other in a way that hinted at a mermaid's tail.

The 35-year-old pop star posed for a two-part series that immediately blew up her feed. See why below.

The "Poker Face" singer showed off her enviable hourglass figure while lying on her side as she soaked up a scenic ocean view. The pictures captured her from behind, highlighting her cheeky swimwear. The tattoos on her lower and upper back were also on display, as was the elaborate ink on her arm and shoulder.

Gaga gave fans a good look at her impressive body art as she played with her tousled locks. The star was barefoot and had a wine glass waiting at her feet. Scroll through to see the snaps!

Gorgeous Mermaid

According to The Daily Mail, the A Star Is Born actress was in the backyard of her Malibu home. She was sprawled on a couple of wet asphalt tiles next to a patch of green grass, beyond which stretched a calm ocean and a bright, blue sky.

Gaga playfully captioned the photos with a mermaid emoji alone, clocking in more than 2.5 million likes and over 28,100 messages, all within the first 11 hours.

"I’m off the deep end. Watch as I dive in," one fan commented on the post, citing Gaga and Bradley Cooper's song, "Shallow."

"You look good!!! I love your hair. REALLY," another user complimented the star.

"It’s the wine glass by her toes for me," chimed in a third person.

While Gaga's swimsuit photos certainly caused a stir with her admirers, the artist made headlines earlier this week with her bold fashion style as she celebrated the 10th anniversary of her hit 2011 single and album, Born This Way

The "Chromatica" hitmaker had all eyes on her when she showed up in West Hollywood wearing a graphic Born This Way t-shirt from her Urban Outfitters collection, torn fishnets, hot-pink Demonia platform boots, and Justine Clenquet chains.

The singer was honored for the cultural impact of her music with the key to the city as she and Mayor Lindsey P. Horvath declared May 23 Born This Way day.

"Thank you for encouraging us to love ourselves and be proud!" Horvath told Gaga.

Inspired By Carl Bean

Gaga shared photos from the event, which also included a pic of herself posing on a massive Pride-inspired street mural of the album's title on Robertson Boulevard.

The songstress paid tribute to the LGBTQIA+ community on Instagram, revealing that Born This Way was "inspired by Carl Bean, a gay black religious activist who preached, sung and wrote about being 'Born This Way.'"

"Notably his early work was in 1975, 11 years before I was born," she wrote in her caption.

"Thank you for decades of relentless love, bravery, and a reason to sing. So we can all feel joy, because we deserve joy. Because we deserve the right to inspire tolerance, acceptance, and freedom for all."
