Paris and Prince Jackson celebrated Halloween weekend 2017 with a costume party held at their Encino, California, home. Despite his love for dressing up in costumes, Prince and Paris Jackson's father, Michael Jackson, would likely be more proud of his children for continuing his charity legacy.
On October 28, People reported Prince and Paris Jackson opened their family home for a second time around for a Halloween costume party to benefit a charity founded by Michael Jackson's oldest son.
The costume party's main beneficiary was Heal L.A., and this is Prince Jackson's personal charity he founded in 2016. Prince Jackson's Heal L.A. is described on their official Facebook page as an organization that was "founded to further the cause of Michael Jackson's Heal the World organization and improve the conditions of those in Los Angeles."
Although the costume party was related to raising money for Prince Jackson's charity, Heal L.A., this event on Halloween weekend followed a long week of charity work for Paris Jackson.
On Thursday, October 26, Paris Jackson accepted an honor to become the new ambassador for Elizabeth Taylor's AIDS Foundation (ETAF), which was founded 20 years before her death in 2011 in 1991.
Paris Jackson may have been honoring her late father by accepting this position since, according to ABC News, Michael Jackson and Elizabeth Taylor were very close in her later life up and until the time Michael Jackson died in 2009.
Despite this, it might have been surprising to see Paris Jackson dressed up for the red carpet with Prince Jackson to accept her title for Elizabeth Taylor's AIDS Foundation because she was volunteering in Puerto Rico just days before.
On October 20, Billboard reported that Paris Jackson left the home she shares with Prince Jackson in Encino, California, to volunteer with hurricane victims in Puerto Rico.
Of course, as previously reported by the Inquisitr, it is not surprising that Prince and Paris Jackson are charitable considering the generosity of their father, Michael Jackson.
For example, outside of his Heal the World charity, Paris and Prince Jackson were taken by Michael Jackson personally to community centers to learn about homelessness.
Over the past couple of years, it is clear that Michael Jackson's children have shown they have not forgotten their father's dedication to homeless people.
For instance, according to UPI, the main goal of Prince Jackson's Heal L.A. charity is to help foster kids that have aged out of the system, and most financial contributions go toward a non-profit called A Sense of Home.
