A Florida woman has been arrested after police say she violently assaulted her boyfriend for a totally bizarre reason. The Daily Mail reports that 34-year-old Jennifer Ferguson, of Port St. Lucie, was intoxicated during the incident, which took place on Wednesday.
Authorities say that Ferguson became enraged when her boyfriend, Christopher Bodden, rejected her attempts at getting him to have sex with her. After a night of heavy drinking, the Florida woman escalated to violence when her sexual advances were rejected by the 32-year-old man.
At approximately 6:30 a.m., Wednesday, police say that Ferguson kicked Bodden in the face repeatedly while he was laying in bed. The Smoking Gun reports that the Florida woman was furious when the man chose to lay down and relax instead of having sex with her. Unfortunately, this position made him all the more vulnerable to her alleged assault. Reports aren't clear on who called the police, but when they showed up, the 32-year-old Florida man was suffering from obvious signs of assault. His face was swollen and red after allegedly being kicked numerous times.
This isn't the first time a woman has behaved in an over-the-top manner when seeking sex. Earlier this year, in Zimbabwe, three women allegedly picked up a male hitchhiker before forcing him to have sex with all three of them. When they were done forcing the man to have sex with them, they reportedly ditched him on the side of a road. Reports alleged that the women were "sperm collectors."
Also this year, a 51-year-old South Carolina woman was arrested after she reportedly beat up her husband with a pair of nunchucks -- all because he refused to have sex with her. Police say that Sondra Earle-Kelly "became irate" when her husband wouldn't go to bed with her. Before breaking out the nunchucks, she reportedly threw ceramic figurines at the man, who later declined medical treatment for wounds he suffered.

Police say that 45-year-old Wendy Luper didn't want to have sex with her boyfriend laying down. Bored with the missionary position, the Florida woman began to argue with the Florida man. Things escalated, and Luper ended up allegedly assaulting the man, striking him in the head by throwing an object at him.

Also in 2015, a South Carolina woman named Michelle Smart was arrested for threatening to shoot her boyfriend. The woman reportedly became angry when the man refused to have sex with her, so she pulled a gun on him and threatened him. The alleged victim claimed that the woman climbed on top of him while he was sleeping in order to initiate sex, but he wasn't interested.
In the year 2010, a West Virginia woman was arrested after she pulled a knife on her husband. Police say that Melissa Lee Williams demanded that her estranged husband perform cunnilingus on her, and wielded a knife in order to intimidate him. The woman is also accused of shouting at him "eat my p***y."

She remains jailed on bond in the amount of $500. So far there hasn't been any word from the boyfriend on whether or not this is the first time they've had a violent row over lack of sexual contact. Jennifer Ferguson is expected to appear in court at the end of the month.
