Kate Beckinsale has been busy showing Instagram her gym-honed body, and she picked a skimpy look to do it in. The British actress continues to defy her age at 48, with a recent poolside shot big-time showcasing her sculpted physique. Kate, also known for her flexibility, went for a tube top look ahead of the holidays,

Scroll for the photos. Kate, who avoids stimulants and has compared chocolate to cocaine, highlighted the results of her regular gym sessions in an all-black look as she posed by a lit-up pool. The Pearl Harbor star opted for skin-tight black latex pants and a shaggy faux fur jacket, with the three-piece outfit completed via a matching tube top.

The paparazzi photos back Kate's statements up. When the ex to Pete Davidson opened up to Women's Health, she revealed:
"I wake up, eat something, and go straight to the gym," adding: "If I’m going to do cardio, I’ll do it later on in the day," she said. Her trainer's words, meanwhile, echo it - they told the magazine: “She’s a strong person. I see her six days a week, and she rarely misses a workout. If she does, there’s a good reason. Because otherwise, she’s crushing it.”
Beckinsale, who regularly shares her gym sessions for her 5.1 million Instagram followers - including humorously squatting over a toilet - keeps the humor high, but likewise the effort.
"I do circuit training interspersed with brutal cardio, such as crazy things on a nonmotorized treadmill. That part is torture. But the thing I like about circuit training is that you're never doing one thing for very long. You get to the point where you almost can't bear it, and it changes to something else," she told Shape.
Kate also joins the list of celebrity yogis - this, not limited to Friends star Jennifer Aniston and singer Miley Cyrus.
"I love yoga, and that's all I used to do. But hardcore workouts have really made a big difference in my life. I have a lot of internal energy, and intense exercise helps me channel that energy," she added.
Food-wise, Kate's plate ain't boxed mac and cheese. The actress goes for grass-fed butter, plenty of greens, and meat - she ditched the veggie lifestyle.
