Jodie Sweetin Thanks Fans For Support After Separation Announcement

Jodie Sweetin is feeling the support from her fans after announcing that she was filing for legal separation from her third husband, Morty Coyle.

The former Full House star filed the papers on Monday in Los Angeles a little over a year after she married Coyle. The reason for the legal request is irreconcilable differences.

The actress who is 31, is asking for the couple's 2000 Toyota Avalon and that they split the $200 Kohl's credit card balance.

Sweetin, who published her memoir in 2009 in which she discusses her drug and alcohol addiction, has a daughter, Beatrix, 2, with Coyle.

She also asked for full custody of Beatrix, with visitation rights from her soon-to-be ex-husband on alternate weekends.

Now the actress is thanking her fans who have expressed their support taking to Twitter as is the case in many instances when celebrities want to communicate with their fans.

In her tweet she says:

"Thank you to everyone for being kind and supportive... I really appreciate all the fan love. Life can have it's challenges, for sure!"

Jodie Sweetin also has a 5-year-old daughter with former husband Cody Herpin. Her first marriage was to Shaun Holguin and it lasted from 2002 to 2006.

The star became known when she played the adorable sister Stephanie Tanner in the popular sitcom Full House which aired during the late eighties to the mid-nineties.

Full House told the story of a widower trying to raise three daughters while sharing a house with two adult male friends.

The show also starred Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen (Michelle), John Stamos (Jesse), Bob Saget (Danny Tanner), Candace Cameron Bure (DJ), Dave Coulier (Joey), and Lori Loughlin (Becky).

Jodie Sweetin started her television career when she was 4-years-old in a Oscar Mayer hot dog commercial.
