Snoop Dogg, ‘Boss Lady’ To Divorce? Rumors Emerge On Instagram

Snoop Dogg’s latest solo release is called “I’m From Long Beach” — but if speculations about his wife’s Instagram posts are being construed correctly, Snoop Dogg might write a new song called “My Ex Wife Still Owns My House In Long Beach.”

Bossip is one of many media sources that have noticed that Snoop Dogg’s wife of 20 years, Shante Broadus, is posting motivational memes on Instagram that seem to insinuate that her relationship with Snoop Dogg is not so great — and she is lonely. Is this a sign that Shante Broadus and Snoop Dogg are headed for a divorce … again?

This would be especially bad news for many fans that were delighted when they saw Snoop Dogg post about his 25-year-anniversary with Shante Broadus around October 16, 2014, according to the Daily Mail.

Rodriguez/Getty Images]Over the years, fans have enjoyed getting to know Shante Broadus and it is common knowledge that Snoop Dogg’s nickname for Shante Broadus is “Boss Lady.” Shante Broadus was also a big part of Snoop Dogg’s reality series, “Snoop’s Father Hood,” that aired starting in 2008, according to Heavy.

Like Snoop Dogg, Shante Broadus has a celebrity life of her own. For example, Ebony points out that Snoop Dogg’s wife hangs out with Monica Denise Brown. TMZ talks about how Shante Broadus gets buff for Snoop Dogg with Lexy Panterra by twerking.

Regardless of their good times, there have been bad times between Snoop Dogg and Shante Broadus — and they almost divorced in 2004.

Moreover, Shante Broadus and Snoop Dogg have struggled with their relationship because of Snoop’s tendency to be unfaithful.

In a 2006 interview with Rolling Stone, Snoop Dogg stated the following about the “pimping” behavior that almost led to Shante Broadus divorcing him in 2004, “[My wife would] act like it didn’t happen but she knew it was happenin’ ’cause the pimps would come over, get dressed, and then go to the Players Balls.”

Female First points out that Snoop Dogg later said the following about why he never got divorced from Shante Broadus in 2004.

“I fell back in love with my wife and kids. A lot of times you get cloudy. This music industry is a mother, man, and it’ll take your vision and blur it. But I need my wife and my kids in my life. So if you hear about divorce, it’ll be my wife divorcing me. It won’t be me divorcing her.”

Unfortunately, sexy women are a problem for Snoop Dogg more than ever — in a professional sense. For example, in the middle of December, Snoop Dogg was “gettin down” with Christina Milian, according to E! Online.

Adding to this, TMZ reported on January 7 that Snoop Dogg is making “beautiful music” with Faith Evans.

On January 4, Snoop Dogg was in Las Vegas, according to the Eater, and his wife was not mentioned as being in attendance.

Snoop Dogg may also be spending time away from home because he is also part of a short series of football television commentary shows called Turf’d Up, according to Up Roxx.

Outside of entertainment, Snoop Dogg has been spending a considerable amount of time creating his own marijuana brand, according to Daily News.

However, it is not all hard work and bad news for Snoop Dogg. For example, Snoop Dogg will not be charged with drug possession in Sweden, according to the Local.

There may also be a birthday party in Snoop Dogg’s near future — and hopefully he is not on the outs with his wife Shante Broadus at that time.

Snoop Dogg became a grandfather last year at age 43, and his grandson, Zion, will be turning one-year-old on January 14, 2016.

About being a grandfather to Zion, TV3 quoted Snoop Dogg saying in a May 2015 interview with Today that ”I’m going to be a gullible, get away with everything kind of grandfather. That’s the third generation of what we’re doing.”
