UFO Seen Tracking Space Station May Be Same Craft That Followed Shuttle Atlantis In 2007, Researcher Says

A strange “cylinder” UFO spotted on footage taken by cameras mounted outside the International Space Station this week appears — according to one prominent online UFO chronicler — to be the same UFO, or at least one similar to, recorded a decade earlier seeming to fly alongside the NASA Space Shuttle Atlantis.
The video, taken from the 24-hour live web feed posted by NASA from the International Space Center, was uncovered by Scott C. Waring, a UFO blogger and editor of the popular UFO Sightings Daily site that has frequently made headlines with his various and controversial discoveries, which have previously included numerous UFO sightings captured by the ISS video cameras – as well as such other anomalies as what he described as an “alien city” in a crater in the moon, revealed by a NASA photograph, and an ancient quonset-hut structure on the surface of Mars, among dozens of similar “finds.”

The UFO Sightings Daily editor and blogger said that he makes a frequent practice of viewing the NASA ISS feed of space, about 250 miles above the surface of the Earth, in search of anomalous phenomena captured on the camera,
“I enjoy watching the live Internet cam of the space station. Its interesting to view the world from outside of it. As I was watching, I noticed a long cylinder object floating along side and below the space station,” Waring wrote on his blog Wednesday.
“Its speed was matched with the ISS, but the object was semi-transparent. Just when I thought it was about to come into focus, the screen went blue. Thats what happens when NASA catches a UFO on cam, they cut the feed for a few minutes. I did get a video of it. Please tell me your thoughts.”

The UFOlogist also isolated the following still image of the strange UFO — or whatever it was.
Waring then added that the shape of the UFO recalled the cylindrical UFO spotted in 2007 from the Space Shuttle Atlantis.
“It reminds me of the cylinder UFO and orbs seen on world wide CNN back in 2006 near the space shuttle atlantis long ago,which was also followed by 5-10 grey metal orbs,” he wrote.
In fact, the sighting was captured in the following video, posted nine years ago by John Schaser.
“27 – 32 seconds into the video of the external tank, you will see a triangular object fly across the bottom right hand corner of the screen,” Schaser described on the video’s YouTube page.
“Are they orbiting this close to a satellite? or is it a UFO? Tell me what you think. This video is not a fake. I simply downloaded it off of the NASA website and reposted it here, it is still on the NASA server.”
Waring isolated the following still of the supposed UFO outside the Atlantis shuttle.
The Atlantis UFO sighting made worldwide news, prompting NASA to issue a rare public explanation of the phenomenon, dismissing the supposed UFO and the “orbs” following as “space debris” that was simply reflecting sunlight.
NASA rarely comments on such UFO sightings anymore. But nonetheless, not everyone was buying Waring’s latest discovery.
“Just as the film goes blue, the cylinder moves under some of the land on the earth,” wrote a YouTube commenter named “technicaly brilliant.” “Think its some kind of reflection.”
“Just a reflection on the camera, errorhead,” added another commenter on the YouTube video, using the online name “Allen Roswell.”

Only one thing is certain, the UFO sighting in the International Space Station video was far from the first, and certainly won’t be the last to find its way online.
