Pizza delivery theft was caught on a doorbell camera. A man wearing a large jacket and a fur hood approached the pizza delivery guy. He tried to take the pizza, and the elderly man replied, “I gotta get the money first.” The pizza thief replied, “I know, I’m not doing nothing,” and then asked him to open the bag to show him the pizza. The pizza delivery guy said, “Two pan pizzas.”
Seconds later, the thief snatched the delivery bag and bolted. The elderly driver attempted to give chase, but his limited mobility left him unable to keep up. While the victim was distracted, a second accomplice appeared in the background of the footage, rifling through the delivery driver’s car and stealing additional items. By appearing like local residents, the duo successfully blindsided the vulnerable driver.

The video received almost 70k views on X. Many people were sympathetic towards the old man who was just trying to make a living. He seemed taken aback by the actions of pizza thieves. Several viewers pointed out how pizza and other food places do not deliver to high-crime neighborhoods. This may have been one of them, but the man was still sent to make a delivery.
Many viewers blamed the ethnicity of the pizza thieves for their behavior. One X user wrote, “Oh, it’s nice to see these lovely black youths contributing to society. Maybe next time this gentleman, trying to earn a living, should open carry and empty a clip into these so they stop wasting oxygen.”

Another one commented, “Yeah, at around 12 seconds, his phone is taken out of his car. He’s working because even with his physical issues and age, he does not receive enough government assistance to live on. It’s unclear if the other thief stole his wallet or phone. One more posted, “Poor guy! He was no match for these thugs!”
Meanwhile, a person who used to deliver pizza shared his experience. He wrote, “I worked at a pizza shop in college. This is the exact reason why we did NOT deliver to certain areas, day or night. Racist? No. It was done to protect the drivers after several bad encounters.”
