A 27-year-old Brooklyn man has been arrested by the FBI after threatening to kill an ICE agent and his family. The acting U.S. Attorney General, who was appointed after the firing of Pam Bondi, spoke on the matter. “We take such threats very seriously and will prosecute those who make them to the fullest extent of the law,” Blanche said.

The incident took place on May 27 when a video of the 27-year-old named Nicholas Matthew Scelfo went viral on the internet. In the video, Scelfo was seen taking part in a protest. The individual is heard threatening one of the ICE agents who was stationed at Delaney Hall. “I’ll kill your whole fu–ing family. Your whole fu–ing family is dead. Your children, your wife, all dead,” the Brooklyn man said in the video. “I have your face, motherf—er. You’re dead. Dead.”

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Scelfo was arrested for “influencing, impeding, and retaliating against a federal officer by threat.” The accused was later released on a $100,000 bond and banned from returning to Delaney Hall, where the protests were taking place. FBI Director Kash Patel spoke on the matter, stating that the individual was identified using facial recognition technology, which led to his arrest within 24 hours.

Kash Patel thanked Todd Blanche for “bringing the subject to justice” while also issuing a strict warning. “Let this be a message to any criminal actor who may try something similar: you touch a cop, and this FBI will put you down,” Kash Patel said. DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin, who was appointed after the firing of Kristi Noem, also addressed the matter.

“Our ICE officers are facing an 8,000% increase in death threats against them as they put their lives on the line to arrest murderers, rapists, pedophiles, gang members, and terrorists,” Mullin said. “Our officers have been assaulted, doxxed, and their families threatened. This violence against law enforcement must end.”

That said, while the action from the government’s side was swift, it is important to note that the Brooklyn man never acted on the threats he boasted about. That said, while the action from the government’s side was swift, it is important to note that Scelfo never acted on the threats he boasted about. In contrast, various X users have argued that the DHS and FBI have repeatedly failed to address allegations of violence “committed against American citizens” by ICE agents.

Mullin has famously called Alex Pretti a “deranged individual.” Pretti was fatally shot by two ICE agents, an act that is yet to be condemned by the DHS or the FBI. Speaking of the FBI, according to the Independent, Kash Patel halted the Renee Good investigation to protect Donald Trump. Good was yet another U.S. citizen who was brutally gunned down by ICE agents as she tried to escape in her vehicle.

However, according to Trump, Good “violently, willfully, and viciously ran over the ICE Officer,” which “forced” the agents to take her down. The then-Attorney General Pam Bondi revealed firing multiple prosecutors at the time who, according to her, “suddenly decided they didn’t want to support the men and women at ICE.”
