A woman attempted to steal a police car but was stopped by the officers. The woman in a viral video opened the cop vehicle door and slammed it shut. She drove a bit while the police chased her.
In a few seconds, she reversed the car but slammed into a tree, ultimately stopping her. The person making the video can be heard shouting, ” Oh damn,” and “What the hell in the background.
Meanwhile, viewers noted that the police officers could have responded more quickly. One Reddit user wrote, “Why did it take them 3.5 business days to pursue her when she ran off?” A user responded, “Because they were hoping she would just run off and they could move on, as there is no revenue to extract from a homeless person.” Another one demanded, “We deserve the video of them having to explain what happened.”
It is unclear from the video if she got arrested or what happened right after. Stealing a patrol car can turn into a dangerous situation. There have been many situations in which it turned out to be fatal.

In other news, an intoxicated woman stole a police car after a fatal crash. She killed a 64-year-old in the crash, and when the police reached the scene of the accident, she entered the cop car. She drove away quickly and thought she had evaded the police. However, they remotely disabled the vehicle before she could cause another crash. Later, the police located the drunk driver and arrested her. She was charged with offenses including DWI, hit-and-run, manslaughter, and larceny.
Another horrific case, a Florida woman stole a cop car and ended up killing herself and two other people in a fatal crash. She stole a deputy sheriff’s patrol car by jumping into the car through the window. Marion County Sheriff Billy Woods said, “This moron stole a police vehicle and killed two human beings.”
When the cops were chasing the vehicle, she crashed into a semi-truck and lost control of the vehicle. The vehicles collided head-on, leading to the deaths of two others. The officers called her a threat to human life.
Woods stated, “We know what’s in the vehicle. There’s a long rifle in there. The moment she did that, she was a threat to human life – a threat for merely getting in that car. Think about that for a minute. What do citizens think when they see blue lights coming down the road?” She also had a criminal history but was not in prison. Woods claimed that if she had been in jail, she wouldn’t have killed two innocent people.
