Doctors Rejected ‘Human Barbie’ for 1000cc Implants Plastic Surgery—And Her BMI Was Only Part of the Problem

Tara Jayne McConachy calls herself a “plastic surgery Queen” and wants to look like a “human Barbie doll.” Over the years, she has done several procedures to enhance her figure and make her lips look bigger.

She has often claimed to like the attention she gets for the way she looks and prefers extreme alterations over a natural look. Botched doctors rejected the Australian model when she wanted to upgrade her breast implants from 540cc to 1,000cc. To get the body she wanted, she contacted several plastic surgeons after being rejected.

The doctors looked at her and said her BMI was alarmingly low. They told her to gain at least 15% of her body weight to get into a normal range. Then they would think about doing the procedure. At that time, she weighed only 100 pounds and stood 5’7” tall.

She admitted to not eating carbs and relying on just fruits and vegetables to stay in a slender frame. The doctors told her it would be ideal if she put on weight and felt comfortable keeping that weight.

This is not the first time that she has experimented with large implants for a tiny frame. She had bigger implants earlier in 2013. But given her body, the implants did not sit right and caused her a backache. So she went to smaller implants, which still ended up giving her botched results with ripples.

McConachy is obsessed with plastic surgery and told the doctors that she had lip and cheek fillers. She has not missed fillers in any body parts that could possibly be injected. The doctors commented on her lips, too. They said, “Your lips are rather large.” Apart from this, she also wanted larger breasts since she liked the look of them more.

With a BMI as low as 15, the doctors told her she’s not the right candidate for bigger implants. McConachy herself was studying to be a nurse, so she was aware of the complications that may occur due to the surgery.

The doctors also warned her about the postoperative recovery and whether she’ll be able to handle anesthesia due to her health concerns. Besides, they noticed that her skin was very thin and had little tissue to work with. That would have ultimately caused more rippling in the skin with bigger implants.

Her makeup and outfits also reflect her extreme style, where she chooses to show off her plastic curves. She has over 185K followers on Instagram. Most of her looks involve heavy makeup, bright dresses, and long, wavy hair.
