Megyn Kelly, who used to be a staunch supporter of Donald Trump, has now become one of his sharpest critics, urging people to speak up against the Iran war. Kelly is one of the most popular conservative political commentators who has previously endorsed and voted for Trump. However, as Trump’s second term continues to take shape, Kelly has changed her stance significantly.
According to The Independent, Megyn Kelly has called Trump an “immoral man,” while also claiming he’s “not the greatest husband” who has cheated on every woman he’s been with. “He’s turning on his most loyal supporters because they don’t support this war and getting in bed with people who fu–ing hate him and have hated him from the beginning,” Kelly said in a conversation with Russel Brand.
MEGYN KELLY: “I Will NOT Send My Kids to Die for Israel”

Kelly has repeatedly claimed that the U.S.’s decision to engage in a war with Iran is owing to pressure from Israel. The Islamic Revolution that took place in 1979 brought to power a theocratic regime. This regime refused to recognize Israel as a state and deemed it a “cancerous tumor” in the Middle East. In contrast, Iran recognizes Palestine as an independent state and opposes the mass casualties Israel has committed in the Gaza Strip, which has led to the death of more than 75,000 Palestinians.
“Support of Israel seems to mean our guys are gonna die,” Megyn Kelly said in her podcast, opposing the Iran war. “Like, our men in uniform and women in uniform are gonna have to die, or risk death, and possibly even get drafted. Now I’m raising three children who are approaching draft age, who could have to go fight a war for Israel. Hard no.”
Kelly claims that Benjamin Netanyahu has actively lobbied with other countries to drag them into the Middle Eastern conflict. The far-right commentator claimed that while other leaders “saw through” Netanyahu, Trump “fell for it.” “[Israel] is 100% the reason we bombed Iran and launched this war. Trump fell for it all hook, line, and sinker.”
As of March 2026, Netanyahu has called for world leaders around the world to participate in the Iran war. As the war began in February, various Gulf nations and the United Arab Emirates were engaged in the conflict as well. However, the various countries took a diplomatic peaceful turn, with Pakistan initiating peace talks.
🇺🇸 Trump's disapproval rating has hit 58.3%, and that number is consistently climbing.
What's driving it this time:
– Tariffs are hurting household finances
– Majority concerned about executive overreach
– Some say military intervention has gone too far
– Iran war feeding… pic.twitter.com/sjIiloGaB5— Mario Nawfal (@MarioNawfal) May 25, 2026
Pakistan has been trying to spearhead peace talks with Iran and the U.S. as well, but to no avail. The Iran war has led to the disapproval rating of Donald Trump to skyrocket, with 58.3% of the U.S. population disapproving of the president, according to The Hill. Various far-right political commentators, such as Tucker Carlson, have also switched their stance on Trump, urging the public to do the same and apologizing for ever supporting him.
