In pursuit of looking like Pamela Anderson, Candy Charms has undergone plastic surgery involving multiple breast implants over the years. She went from her first 420cc to massive 2500cc custom implants, giving her a botched look.
The results of her plastic surgery made her body look out of proportion. She described the augmentation as two balloons bigger than her head. Charms claimed to like the attention that came with large breasts, but that also helped her create a career in the adult industry. She created a website to cater to people who are interested in such content. While she was building her career, she went from 1200cc to 2500cc.
She instantly regretted her decision to get the plastic surgery as it looked unnatural. The breasts were pushed up to her collarbone. Even daily life was a struggle for her. So she contacted doctors to reduce the size; however, she could only go down to 700cc. Removing too much would have caused sagging and excess skin that had already stretched out due to implants.
Then she met Botched doctors to find a solution. Dr. Paul Nassif and Dr. Terry Dubrow examined her plastic surgery and told her they looked like two basketballs. They were candid with her and told her that her skin and wounds had a risk of popping open. If that happened, she would be left with no skin to reconstruct.
They were also surprised by the 2500cc implants as they are illegal in the U.S. Charms opened up about needing the bigger size to maintain her career; however, once she retires, she wants to go down to 1000cc. The doctors explained that her skin sustained permanent damage and has stretch marks on the inside. Moreover, her internal tissues had thickened, signalling pressure on the skin and the veins.
The doctors further said, “You really are suffering major complications related to these really large breast implants, and something is going to give, and usually soft tissue starts to thin out so much that the overlying skin gets thinner and thinner due to the pressure of the underlying breast implant, and it pops out, and you’ve got a major breast disaster, and you lose everything.”
They suggested she reduce the implants to a reasonable size rather than not having breasts at all. Besides, she could go for a lift so she can still work in the industry. At this point, it wasn’t a decision based on aesthetics and goals, but she needed to choose her health.
With smaller implants, she would be able to function normally in her day-to-day life. The doctors said, “I would ask you to really carefully think about the path you’re going down because you might make a little less money having a lot smaller breasts, but you would make a lot less money having no breasts.” Anderson has been embracing simple no makeup looks, maybe Charms will get inspired by her.
