A woman underwent plastic surgery to look like her daughter! Janet Cunliffe, who is originally from Manchester, England, states that she was going through a rough patch in her life after her divorce. She stated that her grown-up children had their own families, and it was in her 40s, while she was single, that she felt the need to have someone in her life. She believed she didn’t look the same as she used to during her young days, and she decided to have some cosmetic surgeries.

The incident occurred over a decade ago in 2015 when Janet Cunliffe was 56 years old, while her daughter, Jane Cunliffe, was 35 years old. While appearing on E! Entertainment’s Botched, Janet said, “I had a big fat stomach. I didn’t really look good, and I certainly wouldn’t have felt confident enough to go out and meet new people.”

It was then she decided to “revamp” herself and get plastic surgery to look like her daughter, as she proudly added, “She’s a beautiful girl.” Cunliffe underwent multiple procedures, including “an eye lift, nose job, Botox in her forehead and fillers in her cheeks and lips”, which she claimed to have cost her around $35,000.

However, the pretty blonde who flew to Croatia to have the “cheapest” surgeries complained of having issues in her left eye ever since. Thus, she reached out to expert plastic surgeons, Dr. Nassif and Dr. Dubrow, who are well-known for revising botched surgeries. She also intended to get a chin implant to get a youthful look like her daughter’s.

Janet detailed that ever since her plastic surgery, her eyes had gone really “sensitive” and they had been watering and getting all teary. Meanwhile, Dr. Dubrow suggested that a mother’s intention to look like her daughter “does raise a bit of a red flag” for them. However, the surgeons took her to the examination room and reviewed her condition, only to recommend that she should not get any more procedures done.

The doctor explained that her lower eyelids appeared to be in good condition, despite being pulled down a little bit on the left eyelid. He stated that some surgeons might recommend tightening the area, but he opined that procedures intended to eliminate the wrinkles could end up pulling the eyelid down further. He also praised her facial features, including her jawline and the neckline for her age.

“You don’t need anything. You look fantastic. Sometimes the solution to surgery problems is not more surgery. And that’s what we’re going to recommend. We want to prevent you from getting botched. Listen to our advice: basically, to leave that area alone,” the doctors said on a concluding note.

Janet’s daughter, Jane, was quite happy with the doctor’s recommendation for her mother to avoid any further surgeries. She said, “So relieved that the doctors don’t want you to have any more surgery. Really, it stops me worrying. It keeps me at ease.”
