Police dashcam footage uploaded by Real Crime Evidence captures the moment an Arkansas State Trooper rushed to rescue passengers of a vehicle after a deadly crash on Holly Road, completely flipping it over on the side of the street. The footage starts with police going after the vehicle as the driver continued to ignore warnings and drive recklessly.
The car slammed into a utility pole, bringing live, high-voltage power lines down on top of its roof. The metal frame of the vehicle can be seen sparking with electricity, which created a deadly risk of electrocution and fire. Looking at the state of the overturned vehicle, without wasting any time, the officers rush to check up on the passengers trapped inside the upside-down car.
One Arkansas officer can be heard warning others about the active power lines touching the vehicle. The trooper reached into the wrecked car and pulled out an unharmed 3-month-old infant. The older kids were guided toward a second officer.
The trooper checked them for injuries and comforted a young boy with a fractured arm. The police rescued three older kids and the infant who were trapped inside the car. They were given water, and the trooper repeatedly asked them if they were hurt anywhere. He then could be seen with the youngest child as he broke down in tears while coddling her.
While officers were assisting the injured kids, the Arkansas driver, a Black man with dreadlocks, climbed out of the car and began walking away from the crash site. The trooper intercepted the disoriented driver before he could escape. When an officer interrogated the driver, the kids’ father. When asked why he ran, he couldn’t answer. He claimed he had no warrant to his name. However, he had a firearm in his possession, and he got scared.
“…medics going to come check on you in a minute. All the kids are fine. Oh Okay? We’ll talk about everything else going on here in just a little bit. For right now, we’ll turn the AC off so you’re not cooking. You sit back here and hang out, okay? The medic is going to come check on you in just a second.
I’ve already looked at you. The medic is going to come check on you,” the officer informed the driver.
Recognizing that questioning the driver was getting nowhere and that the children’s well-being was the primary concern, the Arkansas trooper stopped the interrogation to focus on getting medical help for the kids and reaching their mother. Viewers in the comments section lauded the Arkansas trooper for prioritizing the kids’ safety over detaining the driver.
“That trooper with the bald head was wonderful the way he made the children feel safe god bless him,” wrote one viewer.

“Those officers had the biggest heart they have the biggest heart look how he takes care of that baby. They all do that. I love it. You officers are great thank you…If he cared about those kids, he wouldn’t have taken off like he did. He does not care about them kids. He needs his kids to go bye-bye and he needs to go as asked to prison for what he did. Those kids almost died…,” said another.
