There is always a new rumor or a new hoax going around on the internet. And it goes viral much faster if it’s about Princess Diana. The same thing has been happening for the last few days.

The rumor of Queen Camilla Parker Bowles’s conviction has been making rounds recently. Conviction of what, you may ask? Well, apparently, she was found guilty of Princess Diana’s death.

This, of course, is untrue. Both conspiracy theorists and royal watchers are also confused and upset by this claim. It is frequently supported by dramatic headlines and deceptive films. However, anyone with little idea of how the internet works could realize that this, of course, is a rumor and a failed attempt to embarrass the monarchy.

Online conspiracy videos and social media posts that purposefully mislead audiences. These false headlines seem to be the source of the rumor. These films frequently indicate that Princess Diana’s 1997 death was covered up. Some suggest that a secret trial occurred. Some people went ahead and used these fabricated photos or audio snippets to support their claims. They showcased these media as if Camilla confessed or was involved in the crime.

27 years ago, the world lost Princess Diana

Princess Diana’s death in 1997 is one of the most publicized incidents. Even years after her death, there are talks, investigations and random conspiracy theories going on. On August 31, 1997, Princess Diana, her partner Dodi Fayed, and driver Henri Paul died in a car accident in Paris. There have been several official investigations over the years.

One of the most notable was the British inquiry known as Operation Paget. The final conclusion was that the incident was caused by the paparazzi pursuing the car and Henri Paul’s careless driving while intoxicated.

No proof of conspiracy or foul play was ever discovered throughout these investigations. The accident and its circumstances were not linked to any member of the monarchy. This includes Queen Camilla, who was not yet a member of the royal family.

1 of 2. and let’s not forget to bring this wicked stepmother into the chat. She is just as guilty and just as evil as her wretched husband. Her claws were all over the decision. Wrecking homes since 1981. #CamillaParkerBowles #Homewrecker pic.twitter.com/STjMbr4gDl

These rumors and false accusations were circulated so much that the experts had to weigh in. Even Boatos.org, a respectable Brazilian fact-checking website, searched and checked.

They also confirmed that the indications that Queen Camilla was found guilty in connection with Diana’s death have no basis. Camilla has never been charged with any accusation related to any accident involving any royal ever. So there is no question of finding her guilty. There are no reports, no investigations, and no news coverage of these claims.

Boatos went on to clarify that Queen Camilla was never a suspect, witness, or participant in any formal investigation into Diana’s death. There is no notification or supporting paperwork from any legal body. Therefore, the rumors fail even the most basic inspection.

Camilla broke Princess Diana’s marriage n drove her death. Camilla is also the same woman leaking lies about #HarryAndMeghan to the fascist UK media. Camilla is heartless. #CamillaTheLeaker pic.twitter.com/UTRvTi9fr4

Even after years of her death, the public is still fascinated by the life of Princess Diana and by extension with King Charles and Queen Camilla. There are people who still will not accept Queen Camilla as the Queen Consort. This has led to theories and assertions against Camilla. People haven’t forgiven King Charles and Queen Camilla for the pain they apparently put Diana through.

The British royal family has always been the focus of conspiracy theories. These especially flourish in emotionally and politically charged environments.

Provocative content is frequently amplified by social media algorithms. It helps the rapid spread of inaccurate or misleading statements. Regardless of how many times people are warned, these provocative videos and posts keep gaining traction and adding fuel to the fire.

Even after her death, Diana will always be Princess of People’s Heart.

Camilla apparently was friendly with Diana and tried to tell her about likes and dislikes of the Prince Charles. All the while having an affair with him.

How Prince Charles thought this was a good idea is anybody’s guess now.

Princess Diana always looked distressed in Camilla’s company. The power dynamics of age is clear for everyone to see.
