A Texas man has been arrested for commenting on Erika Kirk‘s social media post, threatening to kill her. Jacob Wenske, aged 26, was arrested by San Antonio police earlier last week on charges of making a terroristic threat and causing public fear. Wenske is being charged with a third-degree felony count. The incident took place in April when Wenske commented on a social media post by a local newspaper.

The post was promoting the TPUSA Women’s Leadership Summit, taking place from June 5-7. According to Fox News, Wenske commented on the post:  “I know exactly where to bomb.” Another comment made by the accused was, “I can’t wait to be the valet for her escort.” The publication also reported further threats Wenske made towards Erika Kirk in an email.

“Death to Erika Kirk and every single speaker there!! America will live on without those scum on this earth. Every Christian nationalist shall perish in the bombing that will take place at every single Turning Point rally and event,” the email read. Wenske was arrested, days before the event he threatened to bomb was set to take place. TPUSA spokesperson Matt Shupe commented on the matter in a conversation with Fox News.

“The safety of our attendees, speakers, and staff is always our top priority. All TPUSA events include enhanced, multi-layered security measures enforced by both private security and local police,” Shupe said. “We refuse to let threats silence us. We look forward to a successful and inspiring gathering June 5–7 in San Antonio for 2,500+ ladies attending the Women’s Leadership Summit!”

Turning Point USA events have tightened their security significantly ever since the assassination of Charlie Kirk last year. The right-wing activist passed away on September 10, 2025. The former TPUSA CEO was speaking at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. An attendee asked Kirk, “Do you know how many mass shooters there have been in America over the last 10 years?”

Charlie responded, “Counting or not counting gang violence?” as he was then shot dead before the conversation could continue. Following Charlie Kirk’s passing, his wife assumed the role of TPUSA CEO. Since then, various users have debated the legitimacy of Kirk’s assassination and whether or not Erika Kirk had a role to play in it. Over the years, the internet has also criticized Erika for her controversial takes.

In April, Erika skipped out on her appearance at the University of Georgia, with the TPUSA citing “serious threats” as a reason. Recently, Erika Kirk was also seen fleeing the White House Correspondents Dinner, where Secret Service apprehended a gunman who had allegedly opened fire in an attempt to assassinate President Donald Trump.
