Ex-school resource officer Lisa Vidrios found herself in a heap of trouble over a sexual affair that she engaged in after moving to Nashville, Tennessee, with her husband and three children. Vidrios would admit to engaging in an illicit affair with a fellow officer at least four times in her office at Madison Middle School. Her husband was unaware of the affair. There have been times when the two officers engaged in activities in her fellow officer’s department-issued car. Vidrios recorded these instances.

The report on the matter noted that Vidrios and her romantic partner often engaged in conduct unbecoming of an officer in earshot of students and staff at the school. This is corroborated by the videos that Vidrios recorded, in which staff can be heard conversing. The 37-year-old Tennessee mother of three had served in the US Marine Corps before joining the force. She would end up being suspended, following which she would resign from her position.

Vidrios and her husband were the first married couple to graduate from the police academy at the same time. The couple moved from San Diego to Nashville in 2022. Hr police access was rescinded on May 26, 2025, according to the New York Post. The Tennessee officer with whom she engaged in the affair remains unnamed in the report. He was on leave due to injuries sustained while on the job.
