Savannah Guthrie had an awkward moment while she was put on the spot by none other than Jennifer Lopez, leaving the Today Show host flustered. In the latest episode of the show on June 2, the singer-actress appeared with Brett Goldstein to promote their upcoming Netflix show, Office Romance.

During the conversation, at one point, Guthrie asked if the two were dating per swirling rumors online. Little did she expect that the tables would soon turn after Lopez humorously caught Guthrie off guard when she lost track of her notes.

During a recent appearance on NBC’s show, Today, show host Savannah Guthrie asked Jennifer Lopez and co-star Brett Goldstein if the two were dating. Pushing back against the speculations, Lopez said, “Oh, God. There’s never a time when I’m seen with somebody or working with somebody where they don’t try to put me with the person.”

Meanwhile, Goldstein, on a lighter note, added that it is something which happens when somebody stands near Lopez, and that is why he has also been trying to be close to the singer. Nonetheless, the show host seemed unconvinced by the answer and insisted, “OK, but I’ll just say, because I’m me and you know me, that was not an answer!”

She pointed out that there were similar rumors about Lopez and Kevin Costner when they were spotted together in Aspen following their respective divorces. The Anaconda actress refuted the speculations as false, further clarifying that she wasn’t dating anyone at the moment. With a clear-cut answer, Guthrie attempted to shift to the new topic, but she slipped on her next question.

“OK, I have a little trivia for you,” said Lopez, but Guthrie exclaimed, “Oh, I lost my pages, though!” while tossing her notes. Well, this turned out to be a perfect opportunity for the 56-year-old actress to tease the host as she remarked, “You got flustered. You tried to fluster us, and we flustered you!”

In response to this, Guthrie couldn’t help but agree with a smart defense as she said, “I did. I was flustered. It’s you, Jennifer! It’s not fair!”

Meanwhile, the rumors of blossoming romance between Jennifer and Brett have been rife on the internet, especially after internet users observed their playful chemistry while promoting their upcoming movie, Office Romance. A Page Six report, on the other hand, suggested that both the co-stars had a secret fling while working on the film. Per the source, the duo had undeniable chemistry, yet they maintained a professional relationship on set.

The source stated that they kept things private during the film shoot while flirting on set but had a “strong connection.” The source added that everyone notice them “getting very cozy” at the wrap party, and it was obvious they were into each other.”

Goldstein, who is also serving as the producer on the upcoming Netflix film, also admitted to having written Office Romance after developing a little crush on Lopez for years.
