Congratulations are in order for Sarah Lancaster and her husband, attorney Matthew Jacobs.
Lancaster — who plays Ellie Bartowski, sister of Chuck Bartowski (Zachary Levi) on NBC’s action comedy spy series “Chuck” — is now the mother of a baby boy, a representative for the actress confirmed to People magazine on Monday (Sept. 12).
According to the magazine, Lancaster gave birth to the 8 lbs., 7 oz. baby boy, Oliver Michael Jacobs, on June 29th, but decided to wait till now to make that news public.
As reported, the couple, who married in January 2011, expressed their absolute joy in starting a new family.
“We feel so fortunate for every minute we get to spend with our healthy and happy baby,” Lancaster and Jacobs told People.
Sarah Lancaster – also widely know for her recurring guest role on NBC’s Scrubs as JD’s love-interest and fan-favorite, Lisa the Gift-Shop Girl – makes her return to Chuck when the fifth season begins on October 21.
