South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham suggested that President Donald Trump and the United States military will target Havana, Cuba, when the ongoing strikes against Iran end.

The 70-year-old Graham showed off a “Free Cuba” hat during a Sunday appearance on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures.” Graham promised that the “liberation of Cuba” is approaching.

“We’re marching through the world,” Graham said. “We’re cleaning out the bad guys. We’re going to have relationships with new people that will make us prosperous and safe. I’ve never seen anything anybody like it. This is Ronald Reagan plus.”

The United States and Israel began joint military strikes on Iran on Feb. 28. Various senior Iranian leaders, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, died during the initial strikes.

Trump previously launched a military operation in Venezuela on Jan. 3, capturing Venezuelan president Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores. At least 75 Venezuelan and Cuban personnel died during Operation Absolute Resolve.

The U.S. embassy in Caracas, which closed in 2019, reopened earlier this year. Maduro and his wife pleaded not guilty to drug trafficking and narco-terrorism charges in January. Their next court date is set for March 17 in New York.

“Donald Trump is resetting the world in a way nobody could have dreamed of a year ago,” Graham said.

No Cuban officials had responded to Graham’s comments as of Sunday afternoon.

Graham also defended Trump’s decision to attack Iran, calling it the “best money you ever spent.” However, the strikes have not been without human cost; nearly 1,350 people have been reported killed in the attacks, including at least 165 people at an all-girls’ elementary school in southern Iran.

CHANGE IS COMING TO CUBA

Additionally, at least 60 U.S. military personnel have been reported killed or wounded during Iran’s retaliatory attacks. Saudi Arabia announced on Sunday that a military projectile killed two foreign-born residents and wounded 12 others in a residential area.

“All of this money is to make sure they never go nuclear,” Graham explained. “They can’t hit us with ballistic missiles, and they stop terrorizing the region. When this regime goes down, we’re going to have a new Mideast. We’re going to make a ton of money. Nobody will threaten the Strait of Hormuz again.”

Trump has spent a significant amount of his second term trying to make significant changes to the global landscape. He has already discussed annexing Canada and making it the United States’ 51st state. Trump said earlier this year that he wants to acquire Greenland for national security reasons; Greenland’s leaders, as well as Denmark, have both rejected those requests. Greenland is a semi-autonomous territory of Denmark, which, like the U.S., is a NATO member.

Trump had not addressed Graham’s remarks at publication.
