Amanda Conner, 35, wife of Teen Mom alum Ryan Edwards, was arrested in Tennessee. She faces charges of DUI, child abuse/neglect, and driving on the wrong side of the road. She was allegedly driving with their baby in the car. Court documents state she was arrested on Sunday, May 24, 2026. Her bond was set at $16,000.
Conner was ordered to have no contact with the child. She is also barred from visiting the assigned caregiver. The restriction remains in place until the next court hearing on June 3, 2026. According to TMZ, Ryan Edwards called 911 to inform emergency services that his wife had left with their baby in the car.
The outlet also obtained the audio and shared it on social media. In it, a dispatcher says the caller expressed concern that Conner may have been under the influence of drugs and allegedly refused a drug test. The call did not specifically mention any names.
According to People, this is not the first time Conner has found herself in legal trouble. Court records reviewed by the outlet revealed that the 35-year-old had a criminal record. She previously pleaded guilty in 2023 to DUI and possession of a controlled substance. She also faced other charges dating back to 2010, including theft, marijuana possession, and failure to appear for a scheduled hearing.

Ryan Edwards has also faced legal troubles stemming from prolonged struggles with substance abuse and addiction. In April 2023, the Teen Mom star was arrested for violating probation related to prior DUI and controlled substance charges. He pleaded guilty, served 48 hours in jail, paid fines and court costs, lost his license for a year, and was ordered to attend DUI school.
In October 2023, Edwards said on Teen Mom: Next Chapter that he had been sober for five months and would attend a 45-day rehab program in Austin. In a 2025 interview with PEOPLE, he said he wanted to embrace a sober life for his children.
“I’m not going to let this destroy any relationship with my kids,” Edwards said at that time. “They don’t deserve it. I’m going to keep moving forward and not let this s–t destroy me,” he continued. “I’m still alive,” he added.
According to US Weekly, Ryan Edwards and Amanda Conner met in 2023 during a private sobriety program. They built their relationship on healthy boundaries, mutual friendship, and a shared understanding of addiction recovery.
In October 2024, Edwards and Conner confirmed they were expecting a baby girl due in spring 2025. Edwards shared his excitement, saying he had always hoped for a daughter. In January 2025, the TV star proposed to Conner and shared the news on Instagram. In February 2025, the couple welcomed their daughter, Presley Sage Elianna Edwards, who weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces and measured 20 inches long.

By September 2025, Edwards and Conner confirmed they had officially married, sharing their marriage license publicly. A Hamilton County clerk also confirmed that the couple wed on September 3. Edwards also has three children from different relationships. His oldest child is Bentley Edwards, whom he shares with his ex, Maci Bookout McKinney.
Bentley was introduced to viewers on 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom. He has remained an important part of Ryan’s storyline. Over the years, Ryan and Maci have worked together on building a healthy co-parenting environment for their son.

The Tennessee native also has two younger children with his estranged wife, Mackenzie Standifer: a daughter named Stella Edwards and a son named Jagger Edwards. Stella is the younger of the two, and Jagger is the older sibling among the younger pair.
