Police responded to a call from a mother after a drunk daughter became violent and attacked her. The incident happened on 6 September, 2025. The mother explained to the police officers that her daughter threw her on the floor and kicked the door. After that, she sneaked out and tried to drive away.
The bodycam video showed that the officers were trying to get her out of the car while she kept repeating, “Get out of my car.” The video posted by Sheriff Lamb went viral and has over 400k views on YouTube. She was difficult to restrain, and the officers had to prevent her from starting the vehicle. Three officers pulled her out of the vehicle and put her in handcuffs.
This wasn’t the end of the chaos, as she was behaving in an entitled manner. Along with hurling slurs at the officers, she wasn’t cooperating and made demands. She continued to make demands for water while she was in handcuffs and lying on the ground. Meanwhile, Sheriff Lamb noted she should not be given water as there doesn’t seem to be any medical emergency. Moreover, she might try to spit the water on the officers.
The mother tried to intervene and suggested that she not speak to the officers like that. Lamb called her consistent demand for water a manipulative power play over the officers. She did that deliberately to see if they would comply.
After the arrest, she was charged with battery, resisting arrest, and battery on law enforcement officers. It is unclear if she served jail time for the charges. She may have gotten some anger management courses and probation.
One viewer pointed out this may have been a pattern of behavior, “You can tell she’s always gotten away with being a bully.” Another one commented, “She’s in no position to demand anything. Mom needs to change the locks and get a restraining order.”
The daughter kept yelling at her mom to get her water in a dominating tone. One more posted, “Passive cops need to stop letting people have control of the situation. Take control.” One viewer noted, “Not surprised to see Mom three feet away expecting discipline that’s 20 years too late to be effective. She needs that cup of water thrown in her face.”
A viewer took a dig at the police department, “I would be furious if I found out my ENTIRE police department could barely get a woman out of her car.” Sheriff Lamb also pointed out how multiple officers pulling her in different directions did not help restrain her. He added he would have done it differently.
