Sigh. This news is about as surprising as Amy Winehouse buzz : Pete Doherty supposedly overdosed in Austria at the end of last week. Remember that porno theater where Pete was going to show his expose memoir with tidbits about Kate Moss and various paramours? Yeah, he collapsed before his performance there, and The Sun reports that it could have been due to overdose:
“He had reportedly been on a huge bender at his promoter Bettina Aichbauer’s farmhouse. She called an ambulance and he was revived — but the gig had to be delayed four hours. The BABYSHAMBLES frontman refused hospital treatment and managed to play his gig. Last night his agent refused to comment.”
