While speaking to the girlfriend, the police officer found out that she was cheating on her. They were involved in a loud argument in a public space. Despite what the girlfriend said, “So y’all weren’t fighting? No, we weren’t fighting.”
The officer told her it was wrong to fight, “You don’t have the right to fight her.” The girlfriend added, “No, we’re good. That’s my girl. We’re here together. I just found out some crazy s–. And we got into a heated argument. It’s over. It’s not that deep.”
She was trying to defend herself. Turns out they were not even a couple. They had broken up, and she was her ex-girlfriend. She checked her ex’s phone and found out she was cheating on her. This revealed a complex dynamic between the two as they were not together, but the girl still accused her of cheating. They had dated for two years and broke up three months ago.
The officer went to speak to the woman. She was crying and trying to hide her face. Meanwhile, her friends were trying to console her. The officer asked if she needed medical attention. The friend explained to the officer, “And that’s her ex-girlfriend. And her ex-girlfriend was using her phone to check out at the store to get the food. And she saw a text pop up on her phone that she didn’t like, even though they broke up a long time ago.”
After hearing both sides of the story, the officer arrested the woman. She was charged with domestic battery by strangulation. The bodycam video has over 3K views on YouTube.
