Matt Lanter may play a womanizer in the modern remake of ‘ 90210 ,’ but that doesn’t mean he’s one in real life. In fact, Lanter has announced that he is engaged to his long-time sweetheart, Angela Stacy.
As reported by E! News , Lanter popped the question to Stacy while on a romantic vacation with her in Paris, France last month. E! says that Lanter presented Stacy with a “stunning solitaire 4.2-carat diamond on a diamond band.”
“Matt picked out and designed the ring himself,” a source close to the actor told Us Weekly. “It’s gorgeous. Completely diamond encrusted with a solitaire, square-shaped diamond. They’re super happy and she loves the ring.”
Lanter and Stacy, both from Ohio, first hooked up back in 2009. Stacy, a Stark State College alum, is currently living in L.A., where her new fiance Lanter films 90210 .
Lanter may be most well known for his portrayal of the womanizing Liam Court in the hit ‘ 90210 ‘ reboot, but the 29-year-old actor has also starred in Twilight parody Vampires Suck , Disaster Movie , The Roommate and more.
Lanter also lends his voice to Cartoon Network’s hit animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars , in which he plays Anakin Skywalker.
