President Donald Trump’s eldest grandchild, Kai Trump, has been granted a restraining order against a 26-year-old man, Gabriel Garza Jr. As per reports, the 19-year-old requested the order against the man whom she had reportedly described as “homeless.” The eldest daughter of Trump Jr. and Vanessa Trump, Kai has recently graduated from high school.

According to TMZ, Kai Trump filed a petition in Palm Beach County Court in April requesting a temporary restraining order, which bars Gabriel from stalking, engaging in online harassment, or carrying out any criminal act that could cause physical harm or death. The report notes that the 26-year-old is prohibited from going within the proximity of 500 feet of Kai’s current home and job until May 2027.

The order also prohibits Garza from approaching Kai on the University of Miami campus, where she announced on May 4 that she plans to attend. The teen had reportedly described the stalker as “homeless” who “lives in a car in the area of Jupiter/Palm Beach County.” Initially, the hearing was scheduled for April 3; however, Kai urged a postponement because it coincided with her last day of high school.

She explained that she couldn’t leave before 3:30 p.m. and requested that the hearing be rescheduled for the following Thursday (May 14). The matter was later rescheduled, and the judge extended the restraining order, which will remain effective until May 2027. The order directs Gabriel not to go near events attended by Kai. He was also ordered to surrender all firearms.

It is worth mentioning that this is the second restraining order that Kai has obtained in two years. In June 2025, a man named Anthony Reyes was arrested after he allegedly tried to trespass on a wall at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate. According to NBC News, he allegedly jumped over the fence to “spread the gospel” and marry the president’s granddaughter.

The arrest report also suggested that the Secret Service found the stalker on the property, and he confessed to jumping over the wall to enter the property. The police report also stated that he was earlier arrested and accused of trespassing on the property on New Year’s Eve.

Per reports, while Reyes pleaded not guilty in the matter, he was taken into custody at the Palm Beach County Jail with bail set at $50,000 and several conditions attached, including an order prohibiting contact with Trump or any members of his family, including Kai Trump.

Meanwhile, Kai, who enjoys massive popularity on the internet, is going through a roller coaster ride in her personal life. While on one hand, she is preparing to go to the University of Miami, her mother, Vanessa Trump, announced last week that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer. On the other hand, her father, Donald Trump Jr., married socialite Bettina Anderson over the weekend in an intimate ceremony in the Bahamas.

Though the POTUS confirmed skipping the wedding due to “circumstances pertaining to government,” Melania Trump’s absence from the wedding sparked family tensions.
