James Blunt died today, according to lies.

The 35-year-old “You Are Beautiful” singer was the subject of another death hoax.

Benkling.com reported that Blunt was taken to a Los Angeles hospital on Thursday after suffering cardiac arrest. Doctors attempted to resuscitate the singer but unfortunately, Blunt passed away at the UCLA Medical Center at 2:26 in the afternoon.

The fake story even quoted CNN Analyst Roland S. Martin. Martin reportedly talked to Blunt’s brother Marlon Blunt and Blunt’s manager Frank Dileo. Roland Martin didn’t say:

“I talked to Frank Dileo, Blunt’s manager. Frank told me that James last night was complaining about not feeling well. He called to tell him he wasn’t feeling well. James’s doctor went over to see him, and Frank said, ‘Marlon, from last night to this morning, I don’t know what happened.’ When they got to him this morning, he wasn’t breathing. They rushed him to the hospital and couldn’t bring him around.”

The story, of course, is fake. James Blunt is not dead. But if he is, according to the singer, the afterlife looks a lot like London.

Blunt read about the death rumor and decided to post a funny message to Facebook.

Blunt posted a link to the story this morning and wrote :

“Not sure if this rumour is true or not, but if so, I can report that the afterlife looks remarkably like London.”

James Blunt isn’t the first (and won’t be the last) celebrity to have a death rumor circulate about them. Usher , Paul McCartney , and Mr. Bean have all been the subject of death hoaxes in the last few months.
