Marston Hefner, Hugh Hefner’s son, pleaded no contest to domestic abuse charges stemming from an incident involving his Playmate girlfriend Claire Sinclair last month.

Marston was charged with corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant.

Hefner’s son was arrested last month after he allegedly kicked and punched Sinclair, who was the Playmate of the Year last year, at their apartment.

At the time of the arrest, Hugh Hefner said:

“If they care about each other, they’ll patch it up.”

But it doesn’t look like there’s any hope for the couple.

The Daily Mail reports that Marston was sentenced to a 52-week domestic violence program. He was also ordered to stay away from his model girlfriend for the next three years.

Assistant Pasadena City Prosecutor Chris Blankenhorn told the Daily News :

“At the end of the three years, he can withdraw his plea, similar to an expungement. But it’s contingent upon him obeying all laws and court conditions.”

Hefner was also charged with vandalism for destroying Sinclair’s laptop. That charge was dropped. Blankenhorn said:

“The (vandalism) charge was dismissed with a waiver he’ll pay restitution for replacing that. They’re not living together anymore. She had moved out prior to charges even being filed.”
