A woman in Florida thought she could get away after stealing a Chanel bag from the luxury store. However, the police caught and arrested her. Officers recovered the handbag as evidence in the case while she kept denying she did anything wrong.
The woman was also resisting arrest and trying to run away while the officers restrained her. She misbehaved with the officers and called them dogs. The officer arrested her after reading her the Miranda rights. She told the officer, “I didn’t steal anything.” During the interrogation, she falsely accused the officer of kicking and punching her. The officer assured her they had bodycams and everything was being recorded.
Moreover, she told her there was a supervisor in the field, and she could talk to him. While searching for contraband and illegal items, she told them there was a pair of scissors under her clothes. The officers removed that before putting her inside the vehicle.
Despite being under arrest in handcuffs, she demanded her phone. The officer explained to her that it wouldn’t be possible as she was in custody. She also asked to make a phone call as her right, and the officer told her she could do that once she was in jail.
She was taken into custody; however, the highlight was her record. She had been arrested in the past in 2015, 2017, 2018, 2020, 2025, and 2026, suggesting she had been in legal trouble way too often. For someone who had been arrested multiple times, she was pretending to be clueless.
The mall security guard announced to her that she was banned from ever coming to the mall. He said, “You’re banned from returning to Glenn Mall. Definitely return to probably be considered trespassing. The police will be called. You’ll be subject to arrest. Just to be clear, you’re banned, and returning will be considered trespassing. You’ll be subject to arrest. You understand that?”
Viewers mocked the woman after watching the bodycam video. One joked, “She wore her best Walmart shoplifting outfit to steal Chanel.” The second one commented, “If you have to steal a Chanel bag, you can’t afford a lawyer.”
One more chimed in, “How stupid could she be, trying to walk out with a purse that costs thousands of dollars?” “I love it when the criminal tries to run the show—but the Officers don’t let them,” posted another one.
