Police started investigating her when a student at the Texas school told staff about Adams’ inappropriate relationship with the former student.
According to ABC 13, Adams FaceTimed the victim during the summer from her bedroom, where her bed was covered in n– photos of her. There was another photo showing evidence of Adams cuddling the former student. She used to invite students to her home to perform chores. Moreover, she admitted to speaking to three school baseball team players via Snapchat.

Adams is currently booked into the Brazoria County Detention Center. She posted a $26,000 bond and was released the same day. The tampering evidence comes from the four seized cell phones along with 11 n– photos and a photo book of n– photos.
The sheriff did not reveal what exact evidence she tampered with at the time of the search. So far, she has not been charged with improper relationship between educator and student. The search warrant for her home was filed last year in August.
An expert weighed in to explain the psychology behind such abuse done by several female teachers. Gail Saltz, Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medical College, told Fox News Digital, “They’re more likely to be psychologically both grooming their victim, but also what’s called self-grooming. They are convincing themselves that what they are doing is having an intimate, romantic relationship that is benefiting the victim as well.”
She noted that the abuse is as damaging to the male victims as it is for the female victims. “An adult took advantage of your trust. That violated boundaries that you weren’t ready for,” she further added.
Sunni Weeks, another professional who works with child advocacy group Shield & Voice, demanded, “If she was having improper relationships with the students, I want her teaching certificate completely taken away. I want to see her go to jail.”
She further noted that she had been following the case for over a year and that the charges against the former teacher surprised her.
