A woman was caught lying to Judge Judy on the stand in front of he son, something that Judge Judy herself found pretty abhorrent. The case in question involved 2 women, named Heather Ramsdell and Kim Trahan, whose vehicles collided.

The incident involved Heather, who was driving a Tesla with her son as a passenger, and Kim, who was operating a Porsche jointly owned with her husband. Kim stated that a collision occurred, whereas Heather maintained that no contact took place between the vehicles.

After reviewing the evidence, Judge Judy ruled against Heather, noting that Kim held the right of way due to a stop sign at Heather’s turn.

Furthermore, the judge admonished Heather for testifying falsely in front of her son, pointing out that it placed the child in the compromised position of either fabricating a story to support his mother or facing her displeasure by telling the truth.

What really peeved Judge Judy was the fact that Ramsdell brought her son along for the trial and then proceeded to lie in front of him. She made it clear that, everything that Ramsdell would claim, Judge Judy was open to corroborating every detail by asking her son the same question.

Despite this, Ramsdell would stick to her story to the very end. Jude Judy, however, would grant Kim Trahan the $1, 315 that she was claiming as damages, and continued to admonish the mother for her conduct in front of he child.

The YouTube video of the trial has racked up a bunch of comments. A user wrote, “You can tell by the look on the son’s face that she is bold-faced lying…get her, JJ!” Another user said, “There was no accident? Then they stopped, and she gave her information just to go for a cup of tea? If you’re gonna lie, get right!”

A third user wrote, “I think that little smirk from her son was saying, ‘Finally someone is calling her out on her bs.’ lol He knew JJ was gonna get her.”

A fourth comment read, “So, the defendant claims there is no accident, but then when Judge Judy asked the plaintiff if they both got out of the car, the Defendant nodded along. Why would she stop and get out of her car if there was supposedly no accident?”
