Casey Anthony is, as a Department of Corrections spokesperson described, “one of the most hated women in America”.
She’s without a job, her parents reportedly want nothing to do with her, and she’s forced to live in hiding at an undisclosed location in Florida. At one point she was telling press that she’d like to be able to pursue a career, but now it looks like she’s starting to come to terms with the fact that she may not be able to live in America.
According to a report from People , who cites a source close to Anthony, she is planning on taking up foreign language courses in preparation of her possible move to another country after her one-year probation in Florida is up.
“She would love to go out to meet friends and do public things,” says one of People’s sources close to Anthony, “but she knows she can’t.”
It was reported last week that Anthony had recently started seeing a grief counselor. According to the report, Anthony “started to learn and recognize her lies and what they did to people,” says a source. “She has a lot of regrets.”
In a recent interview on Dr. Phil , Casey Anthony’s father, George Anthony, said that he was disappointed with the jury’s not guilty verdict .
“That’s being truthful,” Anthony said during the interview. “I don’t want to see my daughter put to death but I wanted her held responsible for my granddaughter. I did, and I still do.”
