Coming off her SAG Award for Best Female Actor in a Drama Series for her part in Ryan Murhpy’s American Horror Story Jessica Lange hinted on Sunday that she might be heading back for season 2.
Speaking backstage she said in no certain terms:
“I’m thinking about it.”
Show creator Ryan Murphy (Glee, Nip/Tuck) has already asked the actress to return for the second season.
As Lange told Eonline:
“As we talked about at the Globes, there just isn’t it any better writing out there.”
Jessica Lange arguably stole every scene she was in during the shows first season and her SAG Award and Golden Globe nods speaks volumes for her importance on the show which has a rabid fan base to please.
As far as trying her hand at the ghost/supernatural genre on the big screen she says American Horror Story is enough of that particular genre for her immediate future.
