Sofia Vergara has gone blonde.
The beautiful brunette actress recently showed off her new blonde locks on Twitter, writing that she changed her hair to get ready for the Summer.
The actress wrote: “Blond ambitions!! Gracias to the amazing Kelly Klain I’m ready for summer!”
According to USA Today, Vergara has gone blonde in the past. In fact, Vergara is actually a natural blonde.
The actress said that she was having a hard time early in her career landing roles with blonde hair and decided to try going brunette.
Vergara said: “I’m a natural blonde, but when I started acting, I would go to auditions, and they didn’t know where to put me because I was voluptuous and had the accent — but I had blond hair. The moment I dyed my hair dark, it was, ‘Oh, she’s the hot Latin girl.'”
And Vergara has definitely nailed the role as the “hot latin girl.” She’s currently starring in the popular show Modern Family and was recently named as one of the world’s most desirable women.
