The Trump administration is getting trolled for using Gen Z language in the social media captions. Words like auramaxxing and mogged were in the U.S. Department of the Interior posts. These posts were later shared by the White House X account.
One post read, “We’re auramaxxing Washington, D.C. ahead of America’s 250th birthday.” The word auramaxxing implies charisma and confidence to the maximum level. Another post with Donald Trump showing the pool and comparing it to skyscrapers had a one-word caption, “Mogged.”

The 79-year-old president was holding a poster board comparing the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool to One World Trade Center and the Empire State Building. Mogged means something is better and an upgrade to things it’s being compared to.
The official Trump administration accounts may have chosen this language to impress the younger generation, or their admin might be a Gen Z. That’s what a lot of social media users suspected.
When politics becomes a performance. And governance becomes entertainment.

Needless to say, the comment section was full of people trolling the administration over the use of such language. Only MAGA supporters saw the fun in the posts. Many netizens pointed out the cringeworthy captions written on the official page. One user commented, “They’re trying to get Gen Z and younger attention and falling hard. They’re smart enough to know he’s a pos.”
Fixed it for you. He’s definitely mogging everyone else in the Epstein files. pic.twitter.com/v7JZzzrVGj

Some people edited the poster board and added the photo to the comments. Several of these had reference to Jeffrey Epstein and the Iran war. One of them read, “He’s definitely mogging everyone else in the Epstein files.”
One X user joked, “Could be Trump’s son.” Another one implied that this is what republican supporters will understand: “This is the level of most MAGAs,” one user suggested, “Fire this intern, bro.” Another one agreed with the suggestion, “Whoever is telling the White House to post these stupid cringe posts needs to be fired. I used to be a hard man, but now you can’t pay me to wear that garbage.”
Interesting choice of words. Mogged? 😂 That sounds like something a teenager would say.

There has been a hike in gas prices due to the ongoing war, so many people slammed the administration. One user drew parallels to Trump’s priorities and White House social media team. The user took a sarcastic dig, “We’re just thrilled he’s focused on $5 gas, 4% inflation, unaffordable groceries, and unwinnable forever wars in the Middle East.”
