San Antonio Spurs star point guard Tony Parker is suing a New York City nightclub after he was injured during a bar brawl between singers Chris Brown and Drake last week .

According to the NY Post , Parker filed a $20 million dollar lawsuit against SoHo’s W.i.P. claiming the club’s owners are responsible for the “corneal laceration of the left eye and other injuries” he suffered in the bottle-throwing scuffle between the two Rihanna love rivals.

“The defendants were reckless, careless and negligent in permitting Drake’s entourage and Brown’s entourage to be in the club at the same time despite known tension between the two,” the NBA star complains in the papers which were filed in Thursday in Manhattan Supreme Court.

The NY Post reports that Parker didnt’ arrive at the club with either camp, but was seated with Chris Brown when the fight broke out.

“They started throwing bottles everywhere,” Parker testified in a press conference following the ordeal. “It started getting worse.”

Parker’s lawyer, David Jaroslawicz, said the extent of his client’s wounds are still to be determined, but noted that eye injuries “certainly don’t improve your outside shot.”

The Spurs star and ex-husband of Eva Longoria explained that while he was slated to play with the French team at the Summer Olympics, he’ll be sidelined for a week as he heals with the aid of a “therapeutic” contact lens.

“I’ll be missing the start of the French team because I can’t do anything for a week except keep the lens in and then take drops,” he said, adding, “But I was lucky. The injury won’t prevent me from competing in the Olympics in any way.”
