A police traffic stop over the suspicion of DUI turned into a series of lies by a drunk driver. The officers stopped a woman who was driving a Tesla. When she got caught, she lied to the officers that her friends were driving and that they were coming back from a photoshoot. The officer reminded her, “You do realize Tesla has video, right?” She replied, “I SWEAR TO GOD. You can look at the video.” The officer said, “Okay, pull it up. Pull it up and show me somebody else is driving.”

This is the moment she went from a crying, helpless woman to an entitled person. She fired back, “Okay, first of all, I don’t; you do not need to come at me with an attitude because I was not driving, and you don’t need to assume.”

She went back to the vehicle to retrieve the video; however, she ended up just wasting time. She clicked on a software update instead of showing the video to the officer. He pointed out, “Why did you do a software update? You selected that. You’re popping the trunk. You’re doing all sorts of stuff except for pulling up the video.”

After getting accused of hiding the evidence, she called the officer insane. At one point, she also falsely accused them of assaulting her. Meanwhile, the officers were just asking her to show the video to prove her statement. When the officer asked how many drinks she had, she replied zero.

She did some field sobriety tests and failed them. The police officer arrested her for DUI. She spoke to her dad on the phone and told him she got arrested. There was a huge change in her tone as she cried while pleading with the officers. On the other hand, she acted like she had not done anything wrong shortly after that. This seemed like a manipulation tactic, but it did not work on the officers.

The bodycam video has over 460K views on YouTube. Many viewers took a dig at the drunk woman for behaving so poorly with the police officers. One viewer commented, “This is someone who learned at an early age that crying saves her from any accountability.” Another viewer joked, “I’ll be honest, when she said Coco at the beginning, my mind was picturing a dog named Coco in the driver’s seat.”

A third one posted, “I HATE when drunk drivers say ‘I just want to go home.’ You know who else just wants to go home? All the drivers who chose to be sober.” One more commented, “It’s the dad immediately joining her mental gymnastics routine on that phone call to try and take away blame shows the real problem here.” One more pointed out, “That 180 from victim to aggressor when she had to prove she wasn’t driving was crazy.”
