A minor traffic stop led to a woman’s arrest as she kept lying to the police officer. One major lie that caused suspicion was that she told Officer Brown about her identification documents. She said, “I will be honest with you. I have nothing on me. I literally have just my cash. I just got robbed.”
She did not have a driver’s license and couldn’t prove her identity. Meanwhile, she also gave fake names to the officer. The interaction was recorded on the bodycam and showed how it started calmly, with the officer asking general questions.
Then, suddenly, it turned into an arrest when she refused to cooperate and went ahead with multiple lies. All her statements about her license and birth date were conflicting. The operator on the phone confirmed the details were wrong, and she did not even have a valid license. Earlier, she had told him she had a “Florida license.”
Once the officer caught on to all her lies, she admitted to giving a fake name as she was scared. He said, “No. You’ve lied to me too much.” He asked her to get out of the car and put her in handcuffs.
She started crying at the end, pleading with the officer to give her a ticket but not take her to jail. She said, “Can we please move forward from this and not in this way? You can give me a ticket. Give me anything. But I don’t want to go to jail. Please, officer.” She expressed surprise when he told her her license was suspended. She refused to give her fingerprints to verify her identity. Then she had a full-blown meltdown, and the officers had to restrain her physically.
The officer told her, “You can’t refuse this.” She was yelling, “Please let go of me. Stop forcing me.” Her refusal raised more concerns, as she was out of control and even kicked an officer. The bodycam footage showed how lying to an officer can get you in big legal trouble.
The woman was charged with resisting arrest, battery, providing false identification to a law enforcement officer, and driving with a revoked license. No amount of sweet talking would work when it comes to trained professionals who can judge whether someone is lying just from body language and tone of voice.
Many YouTube viewers were able to detect discrepancies in her story. One user commented, “She must really have something to hide if she doesn’t want them fingerprinting her.” Another one exclaimed, “What a nightmare or a person she is.”
One user pointed out, “Good Christ, that thing could walk on the freeway without a worry of even a rented truck hitting that.” Another one posted, “Ahh, the old face tattoo- always a sign of class, high IQ, and elegance.” One viewer pointed out she tried to flirt with the officer, but that didn’t work out in her favor.
