Okay we hear of a lot of weird diseases out there that pop up every know and then just to keep us on our toes but this one is definitely rare and deadly but not in the way you might think. The disease is called Long QT Syndrome and your definitely don’t want to go BOO! around anyone with the disease as it literally could kill them.

Such is the case with a pair of sisters in Swansea, Chloe and Evie, who were confirmed to have the disease in July of this year. It is so bad that the girls have to be woken up extremely gently in the morning as even the simple shock of waking themcould prove deadly. The disease that haunts them is known to affect one in 7,000 people and is an abnormality of the heart’s electrical system. As a result any sudden rush of adrenaline or a sharp rise in blood pressure could prove fatal.

In an interview in the Telegraph their mother, Samantha Church, said

“Sometimes it just feels like I’m living with a time bomb, terrified it today will be the day it goes off.

“It breaks my heart not knowing if they are going to be here tomorrow or in five years time.”
