Ivanka Trump didn’t seem enthusiastic about celebrating her father’s big day. On June 15, Donald Trump celebrated his birthday with a U.S. Army Parade. Although the President insisted that the ceremony was dedicated to the 250th anniversary of the armed forces, it is quite a surprise that his 79th birthday coincided with the same day.
One person’s absence from the event really drew attention, and she is none other than Ivanka, the second child of Mr. President.
Ivanka’s social media is filled with photos and videos of her family. Hence, it was quite a surprise that she chose not to attend her father’s birthday celebration. Only two days before, she commemorated her brother-in-law, Josh Kushner’s 40th birthday.
She was potted at the famous Katz’s Deli on the Lower East Side in New York City, along with her husband, Jared, as reported by Page Six.
The couple seemingly traveled to NYC from Florida, and it would have been easier to stop by Washington D.C. to celebrate Donald Trump rather than flying back home. Although, Ivanka did dedicated a carousel on Instagram to her father, it isn’t the same as her being present at the celebratory army parade.
It turned out even worse when both of her siblings, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump made heartfelt Instagram posts on their dear dad’s birthday. Their shoutout somehow dominated Ivanka’s post. Given, she is considered one of Donald Trump’s favorite kids, the lack of her excitement on her father’s 79th birthday, sure raised brows.
Needless to say, this has sparked a few rumors about the relationship between Ivanka and Donald Trump. Is she pulling away from her father? Maybe, the former advisor to the U.S. President herself accidentally confirmed it when she made an Instagram post calling her father-in-law “dad.”
The speculations first arose when Ivanka announced that she wouldn’t be including herself in Donald Trump’s second administration. Although, her reasons were raising her kids and giving them more time, the decision definitely appeared unusual to many. Considering how deeply her siblings are involved in her father’s second term, this move sure hasn’t made her look good.
Meanwhile, even though, lately, Ivanka Trump has been trying her best to cozy up with the Kushners, she is unable to escape rumors. According to RadarOnline.com, an insider claimed that there is a growing rift between her and her husband, Jared, and her father might have something to do with it too.
According to the outlet, Kushner “recognized Donald had become radioactive, and he pushed Ivanka to abandon her father for the sake of their own reputations and the future of their children.”

This revelation came in 2022, and three years later, it seems like Ivanka is finally taking a step back. Given how she is keeping her distance from her father’s administration, it’s hard to ignore the sources.
