President Donald Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., got married to socialite Bettina Anderson on May 21, 2026, in a low-key, lavish wedding in the Bahamas. While the newlywed couple has been offering a peek into the fervor around their special day, Anderson’s half-sister also expressed happiness about their union.
According to the Daily Mail, sources close to Bettina Anderson share that she always had dreams of finding a tall, dark, and handsome man whom she could marry and have kids. Therefore, when she met Trump Jr., it was a no-brainer. On the other hand, Trump Jr. has not rejected his political ambitions, while a poll by the publication had also claimed that he would emerge as the preferred choice among voters to succeed his father. And Anderson couldn’t be happier!

A source said, “‘First lady? Are you kidding? Of course she would love that,'” further adding, “‘That is pretty much her life goal realized.'” The insider also noted that the socialite had changed her Instagram handle to Trump even before posting any wedding pictures.
Notably, the high-profile couple publicly announced their relationship in December 2024, and the president announced their engagement on December 15, 2025. The socialite, who maintained a dignified silence on her relationship at the time, had called it the “most unforgettable weekend” of her life, noting that she gets to “marry the love” of her life and admitted to feeling the “luckiest girl in the world.”

Anderson’s half-sister, Mea Stone, 60, also expressed happiness over the latest chapter in the socialite’s life, revealing that she wanted to get married “for ages.” She said, “Bettina’s a really nice girl, and I hope she gets to have her baby soon.” Stone said that it is something Anderson wanted all her life and emphasized her strong desire to have children of her own just as her sister Kristina had.
Stone said it was difficult for her to imagine watching her nieces and nephews grow up without experiencing parenthood herself. She stated that babies were more important for Anderson to have than who she was married to. While speaking with the publication, Mea also revealed that their dad, Harry Loy Anderson Jr., wasn’t happy with the Trump family opening Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach.

She remembered her father describing Trump as a “slimy used car salesman from New York,” while she refrained from commenting on her father’s reaction to the marriage. “I don’t know. It’s been a long time since he didn’t like Trump. He may have changed his mind before he died. I don’t know,” she said.
Stone, who is not very close to her half-sister, claimed that Anderson’s mother, Inger, brought her four children up with a needlepoint cushion that suggested that one could never be too wealthy or too slim. She stressed that it was a “Palm Beach thing” and marrying “well” was essential.
She explained that because of Anderson’s upbringing, she wouldn’t have been attracted to anything else and that she has had “very high expectations” ever since her childhood.
Bettina was previously in a relationship with Beau Wrigley, the billionaire business mogul of Wrigley’s chewing gum.
