No matter what the world situation may appear to be, President Donald Trump is quite confident that everything “will work out in the end.” He recently slammed Democrats and “unpatriotic” Republicans who criticized him for not finalizing a deal to end the war with Iran. He also asked them to calm down. This comes days after the U.S. Central Command carried out defensive strikes in Goruk and Qeshm Island.

On June 1, Donald Trump took to his Truth Social and launched a scathing attack on his opponents. He assured that Iran intends to make a deal with the United States and that it will be good for the nation and its supporters.

He added, “But don’t the Dumocrats, and variously seemingly unpatriotic Republicans, understand that it is MUCH tougher for me to properly do my job and negotiate when political hacks keep negatively ‘chirping’ at levels never seen before, over and over again, that I should move faster, or move slower, or go to war, or not go to war, or whatever.”

On a concluding note, he doubled down on his remarks, insisting, “Just sit back and relax, it will all work out well in the end. It always does.”

It is worth noting that Trump’s remarks come just a couple of days after the U.S. Central Command initiated defensive strikes targeting Iranian radar and command and control centers for drones in Goruk, Iran, and Qeshm Island.

In an official announcement made on X, it was declared that the “measured and deliberate strikes” were conducted over the weekend against “aggressive Iranian actions” involving the shootdown of a U.S. MQ-1 drone that was operating over international waters.

U.S. military aircraft moved quickly to neutralize immediate threats in the region. They targeted Iranian air defense systems, a ground control facility, and two attack drones near key maritime routes. “No American service members were harmed,” further assuring on a concluding note that CENTCOM would continue to safeguard U.S. assets and interests against what it described as Iranian aggression during the ongoing ceasefire.

According to the New York Post, Kuwait, on the other hand, stated that its air defense systems were activated on Monday morning to capture incoming drones and missiles. The state-run IRNA news agency also quoted a statement issued by Iran’s paramilitary Revolutionary Guard, which stated that US forces had struck a telecommunications tower.

The agency stated it had carried out a retaliatory strike, without specifying the location. However, the statement was widely seen as a reference to the attack on Kuwait, which hosts U.S. Army Central, the Army’s forward command in the Middle East.

Meanwhile, Trump has constantly reiterated that his main intention behind having a war against Iran is to prevent it from having a nuclear weapon using its highly enriched uranium.
