Hines Ward of the Pittsburgh Steelers was arrested on Thursday by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) and the entire event, including guns being pointed at Ward by officers was caught on tape. The funny part though? Ward thought it was all a joke.
Speaking with TMZ Ward said:
“I actually thought I was on ‘Punk’d’ … Something about guns pointed at me wasn’t very fun.”
The arrest came after a mess up at the department led to Wards car being listed as stolen.
Ward couldn’t have been too upset, he was all smiles when spotted with “Dancing” partner Kym Johnson. Then again most guys would be all smiles if they were spotted out on the town with Kym Johnson.
