President Barack Obama doesn’t formally face Mitt Romney on the battleground of debate until early October, but you can get a head-start on the presidential back-and-forth with a strange politically-themed “Rock’em Sock’em Robots” with the face of Mitt Romney (on red) and Barack Obama (on blue).

Herobuilders.com, the self-styled “last American toy company” makes custom toys of all kinds, even offering various political-themed dolls and action figures. A cursory glance of the “political action figures” tab betrays the site as undeniably conservative, as they offer variations on Rick Perry, Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Herman Cain, and Michelle Bachmann action figures compared to one paltry liberal offering: Sec. of State Hilary Clinton.

Regardless, it’s all in good fun, and at the top of the category sits a modified version of the classic “Rock’em Sock’em Robots” game with the faces of sitting-President Barack Obama and presidential hopeful Mitt Romney glued on to the battle-bot heads.

You can get two versions of the game – one for the 1% at $99.00, and a non-assembled recession-special kit for $39.99. Might seem a bit stiff for such a novelty item, but watching your opponent’s head pop off after landing a good one on the chin might be worth the price for those unable to express their frustrations with the political arena these days.

There you have it. Call your favorite friend across the aisle and settle it for good.

Of course, this isn’t the only strange politically-themed gift making the rounds this election cycle. The Huffington Post has the best collection by far, including a video for the Mitt Romney oven mitt:
