A viral road rage incident circulating online has become the center of a heated debate after a truck driver appeared to get “revenge” on an angry car driver. The clip posted by WeLoveCops on YouTube Shorts is gaining traction for showing an angry woman getting out of her car and standing next to a truck.

According to the narrator of the video, a Black woman tried to cut into the emergency lane when the truck driver honked at her, and she got upset. Instead of simply driving off, she stopped and got out of her car to speak with the truck driver.

The woman, who stood next to the truck and yelled at the driver for about five minutes, seemed super angry and frustrated. After five minutes, when the driver didn’t seem to respond, she grew angrier and started punching the truck’s side mirror until it broke.

However, she didn’t realize that the truck driver was making a video of her actions. The driver also included a clip of her and her number plate.

Hours later, police found her, and she was arrested. Allegedly, she was sentenced to four years in prison for her massive road rage incident that went viral on social media platforms.

A Facebook post by the Daily Mail reveals that the incident took place in Bounds Green, north London. However, events leading up to the incident weren’t captured. As the footage spread across social media, many users debated whether the woman’s reaction was justified. Hinting at her sentencing, one user wrote on YouTube:

Thanks for teaching her that ignorance isn’t education.

Another user said:

Four years is a slap on the wrist. 30 years is sending a message. Criminals and unhinged people must be locked up so ordernary citizens can feel safe. [sic]

A third chimed in:

if she has that little control she needs to be in a place where she can’t hurt anybody.

 

Another user suggested:

She should also get a five year driving ban when she comes out of jail.

Some people also joked about the woman’s appearance and claimed that they initially thought it was a man, with one saying, “They’ve spelt man wrong.” Another two added:

Did you say “A WOMAN” nah that’s wrong mate

Meanwhile, many users online also blamed it on “black fatigue.” Black fatigue generally refers to exhaustion born from day-to-day oppression and discrimination against Black people. However, in recent years, the term has often been used to describe frustration directed at Black people.

People online went into a race and culture debate, too, as the video spread online, with some claiming it was the fatigue “acting up” for the woman. Some even went as far as talking about deportation, as one said:

No mention of her being deported. Millions must go.
