Elon Musk, who is considered the wealthiest man in the world right now, could be targeted by many people. However, it’s hard to believe that he was an “easy Russian target.”

Yes, you read it right. An ex-intelligence agent dropped bombshell details of how the billionaire found himself in such a position, while also revealing his alleged connection with the Russian President, Vladimir Putin.

According to the former FBI agent, Musk’s affinity towards promiscuous women, substance, and rave parties is the reason why he became such an easy target. Jonathan Buma, who worked as a Counterintelligence Special Agent, revealed that the Tesla owner became the prime target for Putin’s country since the war with Ukraine began.

Buma also added that Pete Thiel, who is the co-founder of PayPal, was also another target alongside Musk. According to the intelligence gathered, the two of them later were used as blackmail, as per the ex-FBI agent.

Jonathan Buma talked to German Television Broadcaster ZDF for a documentary where he revealed that Musk had a bit of obsession with s–, d—-, promiscuous women, gambling, and adult entertainment. In addition, he was also allegedly involved in the desert rave scene, Burning Man. All of these were used by Russian agents who thought these could be a “possible entry point” to interact with him.

In the documentary, Buma explained, “Musk’s susceptibility to promiscuous women and drug use, particularly ketamine… were seen by Russian intelligence as an opportunity for an agent to exploit.”

However, the ex-agent, who worked with the FBI for 16 years, refrained from revealing the source of this information. “I’m not allowed to discuss the details of exactly how we obtained this information,” he said, adding, “There’s a vast amount of evidence to support this fact.”

When he was asked to assure that the source of this intel is actually certain, he emphasized, “There is absolutely evidence for it.” However, he was reluctant to reveal the source, claiming that it would be considered a “criminal offense.”

He also alleged that Putin was actually behind the contact with Elon Musk and Peter Thiel. Buma mentioned that if there was no approval from the Russian leader, the agents wouldn’t have made a move or gotten involved in the blackmail plot.

Notably, the SpaceX owner grew to have a complicated relationship with Ukraine since the war began in 2022. He initially came out to support Kyiv and Volodymyr Zelensky, which could have deteriorated his relationship with the Kremlin.

However, he later revoked his position by threatening to end access to the Starlink satellite internet service in Ukraine. Initially, he offered it free of charge to Zelensky’s Armed Forces. According to The Wall Street Journal, since the Ukraine conflict began, Musk came into contact with Putin.

Buma was arrested in March after being accused of leaking classified information to a publishing agency. He was charged by federal prosecutors with one count of “Disclosure of Confidential Information.” Later, the ex-agent was released on a $100,000 bail.
