Kim Kardashian may have invited Donald Trump to her wedding, but apparently the hotel mogul had better things to do, like golfing. Okay so it wasn’t that simple, it turns out the Trumps National Golf Club tournament was already scheduled for August 20 which left the Donald with a declined invite.
According to reports both Donald and wife Melania skipped the wedding and attended their own Bedminster, New Jersey tournament.
While Donald didn’t show, other celebrities were clamoring to get in, including Ellen Degeneres who tweeted:
“‘No invitation to @KimKardashian’s wedding yet. #WorstThingInTheWorld.”
Kardashian quickly followed Ellen’s Tweet with:
“Of course u are invited!!!! COME!”
Among other celebrities in attendance were Ryan Seacrest, Kelly Osbourne, Serena Williams, Demi Lovato and Eva Longoria. Other stars who were rumored but not confirmed at this time include Justin Bieber, Jennifer Lopez, Heidi Klum and Kanye West.
Details about the wedding will be fully confirmed when E! Online debuts a two part wedding special titled Kim’s Fairytale Wedding in October.
Even if Donald Trump didn’t show up to the wedding, Kim shouldn’t be too sad, the filming of the event is expected to earn her millions of dollars when it airs and with Kim and Kris having reportedly signed a cover deal with People Magazine. Kim Kardashian fans can also show their support by picking up a limited wedding edition of her perfume Love.
You got to hand it to Kim Kardashian, she really knows how to capitalize on everything that happens in her life, she probably didn’t even realize that Donald Trump was a no show when she was thinking of all the money her wedding was earning her.
