‘Destiny’ Weekly Reset For October 27, Sunless Cell Nightfall With Void Burn

The Destiny Weekly Reset hit Tuesday, giving players another shot at the No Time to Explain quest, along with a chance to run through the Sunless Cell Strike with Void burn active. PlayStation and Xbox players will want to watch out for Shriekers.

This will be just the second run at Destiny ‘s Nightfall Strike since Bungie deployed the update to address its lack of rewards and other issues. The modifiers for the Sunless Cell’s turn at Nightfall doesn’t have anything that makes it completely wacky, such as the lack of radar last week. The modifers are straight forward this week, with only two main concerns. The first is getting through the Shrieker room with Void Burn active, and the second is dealing with additional enemies equipped with shields.

As always, this rotation of Destiny activities will last through the following Tuesday at approximately 5 a.m. ET / 2 a.m. PT. A new set of activities will launch then. Weekly Crucible bounties are dependent on completing the Crucible Quest Line given by Lord Shaxx.

Nightfall — Sunless Cell

The Dreadnaught:Assault a prison deep in the heart of the Dreadnaught and put an end to a Hive champion.

Modifiers

• Epic — Heavily shielded and highly aggressive enemies appear in great numbers.
• Void Burn — Void Damage from any source is greatly increased (2x from Guardians, 3x from minions).
• Brawler — Player melee attacks are more powerful.
• Juggler — Enemies only drop ammo for weapons you are not currently using.
• Iron Clad — More enemies have shields.

Vanguard Heroic Strikes

Modifiers

• Heroic — Enemies are more numerous and aggressive.
• Fresh Troops — Some enemy squads have been fortified with additional reinforcements.

Court of Oryx (Guide )

Tier 3: Kagoor

This is one of the more challenging boss fights in Court of Oryx simply because there’s lots going on between dealing with multiple minions, including Ogres, and attempting to gain buffs.

Kagoor is immune to damage until the Servite Ogre is defeated. This Ogre has loads of health, though, and other Ogres to help it, along with Devoured Shadows and Maleficent Eyes. Destroying the Eyes gives a buff called Ogre’s Fury that stacks up to three times and increases the damage done to Ogres.

Players will need to use the rocks and pillars to avoid the Servite Ogre’s attacks and bring it down. Once the Servite is dead, attack Kagoor quickly with heavy weapons and super abilities to bring him down.

Archon Servants have raised their own corrupted Servitor-god, Kaliks Reborn. Defeat it and be rewarded. Gulrot, Unclean has been summoned by the Worm Keepers. Don’t let the beast’s filth spread beyond the prison. Skolas and his crew challenge the Guardians who captured him. Face him with a Fireteam of three. End him. Brawler – Guardian Melee damage is greatly increased. 2 Vex Destroy Mines Grounded – Players take more damage while airborne. Airborne – Players deal more damage while in the air. 3 Cabal Dismantle Mines Catapult – Grenade recharge rate is greatly increased. Arc Burn – Arc Damage from any source is greatly increased. 4 Fallen Eliminate Target Specialist – Special Weapon damage is favored.
