A Chicago woman, identified as Stephanie Jackson, appeared on Lauren Lake’s Paternity Court to determine the father of her son. The confusion stemmed from a break in her relationship, during which she became involved with two different men in two weeks.

The family drama and aftermath of infidelity were shared on Paternity Court’s YouTube channel and garnered more than 70K views. One of the potential fathers of the child appeared in the court and told Judge Lauren Lake that Jackson had lied to him throughout the pregnancy.

He said, “The entire pregnancy she lied to me. I asked her time and time again and gave her an out. So please tell me if there’s a possibility he’s not mine; please let me know.” Since he had inherited a large sum of money recently, he doubted Jackson’s motives.

On the other hand, Jackson claimed her partner, James O’Malley, had been unfaithful throughout their relationship, prompting her to lie to him. She said in court, “Your Honor, I ended up in this situation because I had told a big lie. I had told Mr. O’Malley that he was the only possible father of my son.”

She wanted to find who the father was via a DNA test because she herself was unsure who the father was. Besides O’Malley, her estranged ex-husband, with whom she was still co-parenting two daughters, could have been her son Kian’s father. The third possibility was a man she had had a one-night encounter with at a club.

Despite her own infidelity, Jackson blamed O’Malley for her decisions. She said, “He can’t be faithful. He’s got a different woman in every single state. He’s always with somebody else. I had to tell I had to lie cuz if I would have told him that there was a possibility that he wasn’t the father, he would have disappeared on me. And then I would have never got my answers.”

She claimed that O’Malley had slept with 299 women and threatened to add one more to make it to 300. Jackson did mimicry: “Oh, where’s miss 300? She could be miss 300. She could miss 300.” This is when O’Malley called her out over her own past and her continued lies during the pregnancy, presenting a diagram to the judge detailing Jackson’s encounters with two other men during those two weeks.

After extensive back and forth, she wanted O’Malley to be the father, as she knew he would take care of the child despite the mutual distrust. She said she no longer knew how to reach the man from the club and hoped her ex-husband was not her son’s father, citing his financial situation. Her ex-husband shared the same hope, saying in a video shown in court, “If I’m not the father, then I’m going to do a celebration dance.”

The judge revealed the results of the DNA test, clearing the ex-husband’s name and confirming that O’Malley was the father.

O’Malley was happy with the results and said, “I feel very relieved now. Now I can move forward as a father to my firstborn son. I’m really happy. Now I have my own little boy.” Jackson added, “I’m really glad that we did this,” and thanked the judge.
